Restaurant Carriages
Our Belle Trains 5 star carriages will feature all 3 coaches from the luxuriously refurbished Swiss Prestige Continental Express including the unique Piano Bar Coach. If you have any special preferences on the type of coach, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. You will also be able to reserve a private table for 2 (supplement £1500 per table).
Private Compartments
In a throwback to the golden age of steam passengers in 5 star can book a private First Class compartment. Passengers booking this option will enjoy both an allocated seat in the restaurant car as well as a private compartment with seating for up to 6, reserved exclusively for your use in the adjacent carriage. After dining at your seat in the restaurant car, you will have the option of retiring to your private space where you can enjoy being indulged as we steam along.

For passengers booking a private compartment on boarding your party will also receive a complimentary bottle of champagne and later in the day a complimentary bottle of wine for the party and a glass of port or brandy for each passenger.

Full day excursion on the Harz Mountains Railway to the Brocken on Sunday 18th May.

Breakfast will be provided in your hotel every morning.

5 star passengers will be welcomed on board with a glass of bubbly and will receive lunch on board the train on days 1, 3, 5 and 8. 5 star passengers will also receive dinner either on board the train or in their hotels on days 1, 3, 5 and 8.

Lunch and dinner on the train includes a glass of wine with your meal. Any inclusive dinners in your hotels, drinks are not included.

On days 2 in Nuremberg and 4 in Dresden and 6 and 7 in Ilsenburg, passengers will be free to make their own arrangements to dine either in their hotel subject to availability, or one of the many bars and restaurants there.

For our 5 star passengers, we offer the most exclusive accommodation, hand-picked from each area and offering a rich diversity of hotel experience across the tour, from unique modern and historical boutique, to baroque palais, to country house, to grand historical.
Your luggage will be transported directly between your hotels whilst we are in Germany so you can relax and enjoy every moment. This is the case for all passengers regardless of class of travel or whether you join the start of the tour at Cologne or Frankfurt.
