With the Harz Mountains Belle and Alpine Belle setting the scene for the future, Belle Trains are poised to continue offering unforgettable steam train holiday experiences in Europe and beyond.

In 2027, we are partnering with the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland to offer 'The Emerald Isle Belle' - a 9-day midsummer railtour to four beautiful locations on the island of Ireland. Find out more here.
We are planning to return to Continental Europe in 2028 as well as tours further afield within the next few years.

Current plans include 'The Kiwi Belle’ - an incredible three week railtour of the North and South islands of New Zealand with over a thousand miles of steam hauled train travel.

Returning to Continental Europe
For our 'Harz Mountains Belle' and 'Alpine Belle' tours in 2025 and 2026, our charter train included some of the best privately owned carriages on the main line in Europe. Passengers dined on board the Prestige Continental Express carriages and ‘Diamant Bar’ piano bar, immaculately restored in Belle Époque style with intricate marquetry and polished brass.

We plan to return to Continental Europe in 2028 when passengers will have the chance to travel on board the Prestige Continental Express carriages as we journey by steam through the peaks and valleys of Central Europe.
